The Rotary Club of Kampala Muyenga Breeze proudly joined fellow Rotary clubs across the district in the 2026 Mega District Blood Donation Drive, reaffirming Rotary’s commitment to saving lives and serving communities. The blood donation campaign officially launched the 2026/2027 Rotary Service Year, demonstrating Rotary’s dedication to improving health and supporting communities through meaningful service.
The district-wide initiative was led by the Rotary Club of Muyenga and the Rotary Club of Busaabala, bringing together Rotary and Rotaract clubs, students, healthcare professionals, and members of the public in a united effort to increase the country’s blood supply.
The campaign was a tremendous success, with over 200 units of blood collected. These donations will help provide lifesaving blood to patients requiring emergency treatment, surgeries, maternal healthcare, cancer treatment, and other critical medical services in hospitals across Uganda.
The participation of the Rotary Club of Kampala Muyenga Breeze reflects the club’s continued commitment to Rotary’s motto, Service Above Self, and its dedication to supporting initiatives that improve the health and well-being of communities.
